Bedtime!

Is it bad that I like when my kids go to sleep at night? Not according to Ralph Waldo Emerson. He said There never was a child so lovely but his mother was glad to get him asleep. I love my children to pieces, but I also love when they go to bed. It's the only peace and quiet I get all day. Last night Owen was so tired he fell asleep early in the chair:



One of my new favorite Bible verses is Psalm 4:8. It says I will lay down and sleep in peace: for you Lord make me dwell in safety. Last night was another stormy, rainy night. I am usually afraid during big storms when Danny isn't home. But I said this verse to myself and went to sleep just fine!

I'm off to lay down in peace and sleep.....
