A close finish

Today was the County Social Studies Fair. There were 97 projects and 8 or 9 categories. Chloe's category (World History) was second largest. We spent the whole morning there. Chloe went out to do her speech and presentation. Then later she was called back in for a tie breaker. This evening we went to to the presentation of the awards. Chloe had tied for first and the tie breaker put her in second with a score of 99 (out of a possible 100) and the first place winner got 100. I was very proud! She also did all this with a 100 degree fever, a constant cough, and raging asthma. No school for her tomorrow, she needs a rest!
