No flavor

I made Phoebe some oats for her bedtime snack. Owen said he wanted some too. I just made the regular flavor instant oatmeal in the microwave. I gave them their bowls and Owen took a couple bites and said "These don't have any flavor". I said no they didn't, that they were plain, and I asked if he wanted some brown sugar and cinnamon. He said yes and then after he tasted them with the brown sugar and cinnamon, he said "Now they have flavor". A boy after my own heart.
